Sitting at the foot of the active Poás Volcano and amidst indigenous trees and diverse vegetation, Hacienda Sonora nurtures its coffees, fostering quality in a soil naturally enriched by volcanic ash. The farm's vibrant ecosystem is a haven for various bird and animal species.

Hacienda Sonora is renowned for crafting premium micro-lots with distinct varietals and processing methods, reflecting a commitment to both quality and environmental stewardship. The farm operates entirely on renewable energy, generated onsite to power the mill and provide electricity for the workforce.

Blending 50% black-honey processed coffee with 50% natural-processed coffee, this "Honey Natural" is nicknamed "red gold" for its velvety crema. In black honey processing, the beans retain 100% of the mucilage, resulting in a velvety crema, perfect for espresso. This dry-mill blend incorporates all varietals and processing styles from Sonora, ensuring efficiency and delivering a truly exceptional cup.
